Old Trappe Post Office
Trappe post office. Built about 1875, the building was located in front of the Dickinson house on Main St. It first served as a combination store and post office probably operated by Robert Mullikin. From 1903 to about WW I, it served as the Philemon Dickinson library (see post card #13 in the Post Card Gallery) and then as a post office from at least the mid 1930s until 1960. I believe it was torn down in the mid 1980s
