Improved Order of Red Men
1912 Membership roll for the Tuckahoe Tribe No.64 of the Improved Order of Red Men. The Order of Red Men is the oldest fraternal organization founded in the U.S. and claims descent from the colonials who dressed up as Indians and threw the tea into Boston Harbor. At one time, Trappe's Red Men met on the second floor of the old Simpson's store building. [above] Courtesy Gretchen Seymour.
