Advertising fan from Bowdle Highley's liquor store which used to be on the Talbot side of the Choptank river by the bridge. Dorchester Co. was dry as far as alcohol was concerned so the road sign read First Chance Liquors if you were heading north from Dorchester Co. or Last Chance Liquors if you were heading south into it.
