Trappe store crock. This one is marked "D B & S TRAPPE MD" from Dawson, Bowdle and Stevens' general store which was located in the small building on the s.e. corner of Maple and Main Sts. shown on the 1877 map of Trappe. This building was torn down by 1892 to make room for a larger store paralleling Maple Ave that later became part of the even larger Simpson's store which itself was torn down in 2006. Circa 1880.
