1889 bill from Benjamin Holmes who was one of Trappe's wheelwrights. Horse drawn carriages, carts and wagons of the day had tall wooden spoked wheels which sometimes needed repair due to the terrible roads of the day. Wheelwrights made and repaired these wheels. Courtesy Gretchen Seymour.
