Copy of Practical Surgery by Robert Liston printed in Philadelphia in 1838 owned by Dr. Samuel T. Kemp. Dr. Kemp (1795-1856) was one of Trappe's earliest doctors and began his practice about 1826. He lived in the old Kemp house at 3901 Main St. and is buried in the little Kemp graveyard on the east side of Rt. 50.
