Invoice dated Aug. 9, 1906 to Addison Leonard for items bought at Clark & Kirby's store which was located at the n.w. corner of the downtown crossroads. This building was destroyed in the 1911 fire, but was rebuilt. Later in the century, it served several more businesses including Nevius Hardware in 1920s to 1940s, then Paul Shockley's store in the 1950s and '60s, then Adams Emporium (an antique shop) in the 1970s, then Henry Outten's plumbing business in the 1980s, then apartments, then Paul Moore and currently more apartments and the town cop.
